A message from The Club’s President
My Vision for the Coming Year in Office
Building on the strong foundations of this amazing club, I feel privileged to be taking on the role of President of Axbridge District Rotary for the coming year.
My vision is to continue and develop the fundraising and social activities that are such an important part of our club, while also looking for new ideas and opportunities to increase the difference we make within our local community. I would like us to be open to trying new things, whilst retaining the traditions and activities that have made our club so successful.
A key priority for me this year will be membership. Like many clubs, we need to attract new members and encourage a wider range of people to become involved in Rotary. I would like us to look beyond our traditional membership base and explore opportunities to engage with people and communities across the wider local area.
Ultimately, I want my year as President to be one of enthusiasm, participation and growth, strengthening our club, increasing our impact and, most importantly, enjoying ourselves along the way.

President 2026/27 – Axbridge District Rotary Club
Club Summary:
Axbridge District Rotary is a newly chartered (Feb’24) Rotary Club based in and around the town of Axbridge, Somerset in the UK, although it had been meeting and working as a Rotary entity for much longer than this – full details are on the About Us page.
We are a very “non-typical” Rotary Club operating in a very relaxed manner, enjoying the friendship between the membership, working together on community / public projects and fundraising events to support our chosen charities / good causes. However, we have and will continue to operate with the values that Rotary has been using for over 100 years.
